What really bothers me about these sorts of posts is not that people are stupid enough to believe  this obvious satire is true (though that is bad enough) but what really gets to me is that someone not only reads an article from source they are completely unfamiliar with and is so incensed they post a diatribe about it without ever trying to learn more or even find another corroborating source.  Really? it’s got you this upset but you didn’t try to learn anything else - for instance if it is even true or perhaps if there is another side to the story - from sources you know and trust? You know nothing about the source of the information but you automatically believe it?   Not that that would make a huge amount of difference.  I recently saw another post in which responders explained to one poster who stated it was a “new low for a  U.S. President” what they were so upset about was a joke only to have the original poster respond with “that doesn’t change my feelings” Really?!?  You now know it is fake and that doesn’t change your feelings at all? You still believe someone has reached a “new low” for something you now know they never did?  Wow.  Sometimes, I just want to weep.
